Fun with spills

She spilled her yogurt this morning, but after I took away the 

place mat and wiped the sheet up (mostly), she still wanted

 to keep her almost empty bowl. Then, I went in and she

 was using her spoon to scrape the yogurt off the flowers

 very industriously. It is good morning.

I said: "Give me a big smile."

And she said: "What for?"

And I said: "For Pete."

So, this one's a "for Pete" smile.  

Isn't it pretty?

Amanda is victorious!

Amanda was sitting with Mom this evening, and I told her that there was some chocolate pudding (that is vanilla Greek yogurt and cocoa mixed) for mom to eat, but that she hadn't finished it today.  Usually mom really loves and eats this treat.  So, Amanda sent these photos a few minutes into her watch.  Apparently, Mommy will eat pudding for Amanda even when she doesn't eat it for me.

Homemade bread and fresh tomatoes today!

Concentrating on getting those tomatoes.

Oatmeal for dinner :-)

Mom slept ALL DAY long.  Every time I wash her hair she seems to sleep all day.  (Maybe the head massage is what brings that on?)  So, she's having the oatmeal that I prepared for her breakfast for her dinner.  

Suppertime

Salmon patties and pea salad for supper.  Yum yum.

She's got all kinds of things in easy reach today.  She's looking at her magazine.  She's got her oatmeal bowl (mostly finished, but she's not ready for me to take to the kitchen yet), and she's got her pretty place mat.  She loves to look at the patterns on it.  She's got her head pillow in case she needs it, and the TV is playing a documentary on caves of the world.  She's having a good day.
