Mom:  "What are you doing?"

Me: "I'm just taking your picture.   You look kind of mad."

Mom:  "I'm not mad.  I just don't know what it's going to look like."

Me:  "You look beautiful.  Give me a big smile."

Mom:  "I don't know if I can."

Me:  "You just did, and you're beautiful."
