Yesterday, Stephan hung up a bird feeder for Mommy.
He made sure to hang it where she could see it
from her bed, from her recliner,
and from her chair.
If the birds will ever find it, she can watch them eat.
Now, we're waiting by the window, but no birds yet.
Where are those stupid birds?
They are late for breakfast.
Oh! I hope that the birds come!

ReplyDeleteI've only seen two birds so far (both yesterday and both just on the porch railing where I've sprinkled seeds, not at the feeder). One looked like a finch and the other was a cardinal. I'm hoping more will come today. But, so far, every time I peek out the window, nothing . . .
